Career development

Welcome to college! This is the time to work on not just academics, but career development. This is an incredibly stressful term for many students, but it doesn’t have to be! Reach out to your advisors, they are bound to have suggestions on where to start. Attend the career fairs, even if you don’t know there is anything there that is “exactly what you want to do.”

Take a chance, put yourself out there, it pays off. Look for internships and discover new opportunities. Work on your networking skills. Now is the time to branch out and discover the world around you. You have nothing to lose. Take your chance.
